Through a multi-faceted program of cultural exchange, CEC ArtsLink serves to create and sustain constructive, mutually beneficial relationships between the US and the 32 countries listed below. Working with artists, arts organizations and community-based institutions, CEC ArtsLink provides an essential structure for ongoing dialogue between the US and these formerly isolated cultures.

ArtsLink Awards support exchange between artists and arts organizations in the United States and the 32 countries listed below through three separate types of awards. Recipients are selected through a competitive peer-panel review process.

Funding is provided through ArtsLink Projects, ArtsLink Residencies, and Independent Projects.

Open World »

Open World Cultural Leaders brings emerging cultural leaders in the arts from Russia to the US to provide them with opportunities to meet and collaborate with their counterparts and to experience firsthand American life and culture. CEC ArtsLink partners with premier arts organizations across the United States to develop and implement effective residency programs. There is no open competition for participation in the program.

VisArt »

VisArt exchanges provide opportunities for collaboration between US artists, critics, art historians and arts managers and their colleagues in Russia and Central Asia with seminars, workshops, performances, lectures and symposia. VisArt projects are designed to respond to changing regional needs and interests in the regions. There is no open competition for participation in this program.
