Who: artists and arts managers from the eligible countries listed below (“ArtsLink Fellows”)

What: five-week residencies at US arts organizations, plus two three-day sessions in NYC

Since 1993, ArtsLink has funded 419 Fellows from 26 countries in residencies at 218 US arts organizations in 33 states and Washington, D.C., disbursing over $2 million in awards.

What: self-directed projects in the US

Since 1999, ArtsLink has funded 70 Independent Projects making over $290,000 available to artists and arts managers from abroad.


ArtsLink Awards are comprised of ArtsLink Projects, ArtsLink Residencies and Independent Projects. These components are funded through public and private sources including the National Endowment for the Arts, the Trust for Mutual Understanding, The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the Ohio Arts Council, the Kettering Fund, the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation, the Polish Cultural Institue and the Romanian Cultural Institute.
